At the corner of Southern Artery & Washington in QNZY, Massachusetts, this building serves as a local icon.

It was originally a Sunoco gas station owned by a guy named Lenny White. By the late 1960s and early 1970s, it was a roast beef joint called NEBA, famous for its "potato nuggets" you'd eat with a wooden fork. Then Gino's Chicken Joint. Then a Tech Hifi audio store to purchase record players & stereo equipment. Then the Fin, Fur & Feather Pet Shop. I grew up with a police officer wearing white gloves, blowing on his whistle, dramatically directing traffic in the intersection - all-day every Monday through Friday. Next came Baxter Pharmacy and then a nail salon.
