Goliath, or as some knew it as Big Blue, The Big Grey Dog or Horse, was a prominent part of the South Shore’s skyline.

Built in 1975 in the Fore River Shipyard, it was taken down in 2009 then painted yellow and sent to Romania.

If only we could’ve kept it…..
