The neon signage, the weekly special boards, butchers donning white jackets, the ad-hoc hand-written discounts on each styrofoam package of beef. Even the smell reminds you that they're no-joke, real-deal meat-masters..... Roxie's is the classic grocer from yesteryear.

Most people never think about it but Roxie's is packed everyday with a cult following pushing around tiny carriages cashing in on discounts and quality as a regional behemoth supermarket across the street sells anything anyone would ever need. And still, after 50 years, they continue to be a staple of Quincy- the little guy standing up to the big guy.
